The house

A Picardy farmhouse to live in as 16

A long house of half-timbering and brick, between an enclosed courtyard and a tree-lined garden of one hectare. Everything is designed for big tables, children running about and evenings by the fire.

Two kitchens to cook for 16

The large, convivial kitchen, with its Godin wood stove and farmhouse table for twelve, is the heart of the house. Next door, the cooking kitchen holds the equipment: oven, dishwasher, American fridge, induction hob, two raclette sets, a fondue set, a crêpe maker, a toastie maker, a coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle and a Beertender beer tap.

Two lounges, two fireplaces

A small lounge with an open fire for conversation, a large lounge and dining room with a fireplace and a table for twelve to 16 for festive meals. Firewood from the woodshed is free: the fireplaces and stove are loaded for your arrival.

The conservatory and the garden

The conservatory opens onto the enclosed one-hectare garden: pétanque pitch, giant trampoline with net, garden table for fourteen, sun loungers, parasols and a charcoal barbecue. Boules, Mölkky, Flemish frog game, Nicolas billiards and board games are provided, along with two Bluetooth speakers.

The henhouse, the sheep and the fresh eggs

About twenty hens and roosters live in the pasture at the bottom of the garden, with two sheep. The day's eggs are yours if you find them: children love it.

Good to know

The house in a few rules

  • Arrival between 3 pm and midnight, self check-in: the gate code is sent to you on the day of arrival. Check-out until 5 pm.
  • 16 guests, children included; more on request. Civil liability and holiday insurance requested for the stay.
  • No smoking indoors. Ashtrays are available outside.
  • Quiet between 10 pm and 8 am: we are in a village.
  • Open fires are forbidden on the property. The barbecue and fire pit stay in their designated place.
  • Dogs and cats welcome in the enclosed garden, not on the furniture or in the beds. About twenty hens and roosters and two sheep roam free in the pasture: keep an eye on your dog.
  • Trampoline under parents' responsibility, one child at a time.
  • Waste sorting: black bin, yellow bin, green trailer for glass. Collection on Monday morning, bins taken out before departure.
  • Games, crockery and utensils are yours to use: everything goes back to its place before you leave, anything broken is replaced or refunded. The big farmhouse table is not to be moved.
  • The house is returned tidy, dishes done, sheets and towels in the baskets provided, garden furniture put away.
  • Any problem is reported within 48 hours of arrival.
  • Planning an event? Describe it to us and we will tell you whether the farm suits it.
