The house is made for big tables and evenings with friends, and the garden is fairly far from the neighbours. Please stay reasonable, especially outside and after midnight: we are in a village.

No, the house is reserved for stays with friends and family.

Yes, dogs and cats are welcome, at no extra charge. The garden is fully enclosed, but about twenty hens and roosters and two sheep roam free in the pasture: keep an eye on your dog.

Yes, the whole house is on the ground floor, with no upstairs and no indoor stairs. The entrance is up a few front steps: if someone uses a wheelchair or has difficulty walking, tell us before the stay and we will help you organise the arrival.

A travel cot, two baby beds, books and toys for the little ones, a trampoline and games for the older ones.

Yes, unless you choose a linen option: sheets only, sheets and towels, or beds made before you arrive. See the Rates page.

End-of-stay cleaning is charged at €160 per stay. The house must be left tidy, dishes done and bins taken out. For stays of a week or more, a cleaning visit during your stay is available at €15 per hour, in two-hour slots.

Yes, a €1,000 deposit by cheque, to reach us at least eight days before arrival. It is only cashed in case of damage, and returned to you within fifteen days after the stay.

Any cancellation must be made in writing. You have 15 days after booking to cancel and be fully refunded, unless your arrival is less than 30 days after the booking: the booking is then firm. After those 15 days: more than 30 days before arrival, the “balance” half is refunded and the “deposit” half is kept; less than 30 days before arrival, no refund. Refunds are made within fifteen days. We recommend cancellation insurance. If we have to cancel, everything is refunded within fifteen days.

Not indoors. Outside yes, ashtrays are provided, and the grounds are left without cigarette ends.

Choose your dates on the Book page: the price appears at once. You receive by email the quote, the seasonal rental contract and the secure Swikly payment link. The stay is paid in full at booking, and the €1,000 security deposit is registered by card imprint, with nothing charged. Linen and cleaning options are confirmed eight days before arrival.

Yes: central heating, two fireplaces and a wood stove, with free firewood. January guests confirm it.

Wifi is available throughout the house, at countryside speed: fine for email, music and standard-quality video, not for a day of video calls.

Yes, a charcoal barbecue is available in the garden, with an extending table for fourteen and sun loungers for sunny days.

Self check-in between 3 pm and midnight, check-out until 5 pm every day. We remain reachable throughout your stay.
