A farm in the calm of a valley village, for anglers, cyclists and walkers: you set off from the house on foot or by bike, and in the evening you gather around the fire.
Fishing
The Somme, its ponds and marshes are an angler's paradise: carp, pike, zander and coarse fish. Fishing permits by the day or the week, bring your own gear. We are happy to point out our favourite spots.
Cycling and walking
The Somme valley cycle route runs two kilometres away: rides along the river, the ponds and the marshes, straight from the house. The Traverse du Ponthieu greenway links Abbeville to Saint-Riquier and its royal abbey. Further on, the bay, the Marquenterre park and its birds.
The evening
Two fireplaces and a wood stove, firewood included and loaded on arrival. The big kitchen with its farmhouse table, the conservatory onto the garden, the charcoal barbecue on fine days. Cars sleep in the courtyard closed by an electric gate.
Weekdays and off season
Weeknights are the cheapest, and low season runs from November to March outside the Christmas holidays. Departure time is agreed together, case by case, which suits fishing days.

Questions we are often asked
Are pets allowed?
Yes, dogs and cats are welcome, at no extra charge. The garden is fully enclosed, but about twenty hens and roosters and two sheep roam free in the pasture: keep an eye on your dog.
Is the house well heated in winter?
Yes: central heating, two fireplaces and a wood stove, with free firewood. January guests confirm it.
How fast is the wifi?
Wifi is available throughout the house, at countryside speed: fine for email, music and standard-quality video, not for a day of video calls.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Self check-in between 3 pm and midnight. The check-out time is agreed together before your stay, case by case: tell us your constraints. We remain reachable throughout your stay.
