Near the bay, not in it
The farm is not in the Bay of Somme, and that is the point. It stands in Liercourt, a little outside the village, on large grounds with no close neighbours, 30 minutes from Saint-Valery and Le Crotoy. For a group, it makes all the difference:

- the quiet of the countryside, away from the summer crowds;

The price is for the whole house, end-of-stay cleaning included, whatever your number: at 16, a weekend comes to €78 per person in low season.
From 17 to 20 guests, €32 per person per night is added, 18 sleep in beds, two more on the sofa bed in the large living room. Tents in the garden? Let's talk about it. At 10 or 12, you keep the whole house, with a few spare bedrooms.
More than 20 of you?
There is always a solution. The farm becomes the home base: you live, eat and gather here. The others sleep a stone's throw away in Pont-Rémy, 2 km from here: the gîte Aux 10 Ponts (8 people, 3 bedrooms) and the village gîte Au fil de l'eau (6 people, 3 bedrooms), both on the banks of the Somme, not counting the gîtes in the neighbouring villages.
For those who sleep in Pont-Rémy and spend their days at the farm, count on €15 per person per day, by quote.

Seven bedrooms, three bathrooms
The bedrooms bear the family's first names: Félix (180 cm bed), Nelly (150), Rose (140), Marcel (160), Henry (three 90 cm beds), Louisa (160) and Suzanne, the family room (160, 140 and 90).
Five of them are grouped in a quiet wing. Three bathrooms with shower, three toilets, two travel cots, and everything on one level.
Two kitchens, two living rooms, a veranda
The large convivial kitchen, with its wood stove and farmhouse table for twelve, and next to it the cooking kitchen: oven, dishwasher, American fridge, induction hob, two raclette sets, a fondue set, a crêpe maker and a beer tap.
The large living-dining room brings everyone together around its big table by the fireplace, the small living room has its own, and the veranda opens onto the garden.
At the centre of everything
The bay on one side, Amiens on the other, and everything in between:
- Abbeville and the abbey of Saint-Riquier: 15 minutes;
- Saint-Valery, Le Crotoy and the seals: 30 minutes;
- the Marquenterre bird park and the Valloires gardens: 40 minutes;
- Amiens: 50 minutes.
Calais is 1 h 20 away, Brussels 3 h, Paris 2 h 20, and Pont-Rémy station 2 km, on the Somme valley cycle route.
A day in the bay from the farm
Leave after breakfast: half an hour's drive and you are in Saint-Valery. In the morning, the old town and the quays; in season, the bay's little steam train to Le Crotoy; in the afternoon, a nature walk to see the seals, with the tides.
In the evening, back to the farm: a fire in the hearth, the big table, and not a sound outside.

Is the house in the Bay of Somme?
No, and that is deliberate. The farm is in Liercourt, in the Somme valley, 30 minutes from Saint-Valery and Le Crotoy, a little outside the village, on large grounds with no close neighbours.
A group finds there what the coast rarely offers: one single house for 18, an enclosed garden of one hectare and peace and quiet, cleaning included. The bay, the Marquenterre, Abbeville and Saint-Riquier are easy day trips.
How many people can sleep at the farm?
18 in beds, spread over seven bedrooms, and 20 with the sofa bed in the large living room. The price covers 16 guests, then €32 per person per night.
Beyond 20, the farm becomes the home base: small gîtes very close by can be rented in addition, just ask us. Those who sleep elsewhere and spend their days at the farm: €15 per person per day, by quote. Tents in the garden are possible, case by case.
Is the house on one level?
Yes, the whole house is on the ground floor, with no upstairs and no indoor stairs. The entrance is up a few front steps: if someone uses a wheelchair or has difficulty walking, tell us before the stay and we will help you organise the arrival.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, dogs and cats are welcome, at no extra charge. The garden is fully enclosed, but about twenty hens and roosters and two sheep roam free in the pasture: keep an eye on your dog.
Is cleaning included?
End-of-stay cleaning is charged at €160 per stay. The house must be left tidy, dishes done and bins taken out. For stays of a week or more, a cleaning visit during your stay is available at €16 per hour, in two-hour slots.
How do I book and pay?
Choose your dates on the Book page: the price appears at once. You receive by email the quote, the holiday rental contract and the secure Swikly payment link.
The stay is paid in full at booking, and the €1,000 deposit is registered by card imprint, with no debit. Linen and cleaning options are chosen at booking and can still be added up to four days before arrival.
